COMMISSIONS

I create commissioned sculptural ceramic works for hospitality environments, private residences, and design-led projects. My commissions are developed in collaboration with designers, architects, and purchasing agencies, resulting in site-responsive pieces that bring material presence and quiet focus to a space.

Commissions range from standalone sculptural works to multi-piece installations, each approached with careful attention to scale, material, and environment.

Created for Norwegian Cruise Lines’ newest vessel, launching March 2026, this series of 35-inch ceramic sculptures was designed to complement a refined hospitality interior. The client requested black-and-white gestural works that convey both movement and tranquility. Each piece was conceived as a focal point within a larger architectural setting—balancing artistry with spatial harmony.

This commission reflects my ongoing collaborations with the hospitality and design trade, delivering sculptural works that integrate seamlessly into luxury environments while maintaining the individuality of fine art.

“JAPAN”

A few years ago, I parted with “The Coupling”, a vessel pair that embodied a sculptural clay landscape—one that spoke of movement and connection. In 2024, I was honored to revisit this vision, creating a more intimate version for a private showroom in Tokyo designed by the renowned interior design firm Yabu Pushelberg.

Revisiting The Coupling was not just a recreation but an evolution—an opportunity to refine my technique and allow a new conversation to emerge. Seeing these pieces find a home in Japan, a place I feel deeply connected to, was a profound full-circle moment.

“MIAMI”

A collaboration with EoA Design Group as they develop a new resort in Miami, FL.

This commission was a wonderful chance to explore color while staying true to my aesthetic, allowing me to flex my knowledge of clay formulation in a new and exciting way.

The pieces combine stoneware clay and slip casting, a technique I have been refining for years. Though the forms are repetitive, each of the 18 pieces showcases a unique surface design, ensuring each one has its own voice.

“GUEST BATHROOM”

A unique sink commission for clients of
Joan Barton at Dirty Girl Construction in Los Angeles.

I love using untraditional surfacing techniques, so this sink is finished with Sculpt Nouveau metal paints and patinas. The final surface is a beautiful rust color with a modeled surface.
